Most of them are occupied in making hand-felted accessories/crafts. There are hundreds of felt factories in Nepal. Usually, they supply the handmade felt accessories to the local stores in tourist areas like in Thamel, Jhamel, Kupondole, Bhaktapur, Patan, Changunarayan and much more. To empower women artisans, we must promote felt industry. So, we are producing different product designs made from felt and exporting the hand felted products to different parts of the world.

Felt Flower Brooches: Women artisans create beautiful flower brooches by cutting different sized petals from felt in various colors, and then layering and gluing them together to create a flower shape. Finish by attaching a brooch pin to the back.
Felt Hair Accessories: Make hair bows, headbands, and hair clips by cutting felt into shapes such as hearts, stars, or animals, and then attaching them to hair accessories with glue or thread.
Felt Keychains: Cut felt into shapes such as animals, letters, or numbers, and attach to a keyring with a small chain or ribbon.
Felt Coasters: Cut felt into circles or other shapes, and then layer and glue them together to create a sturdy coaster. Add decorative touches such as embroidery or fabric paint.
Felt Pouches/Purses: Cut felt into rectangles and fold in half, then sew or glue the edges together to create a simple pouch. Add a button or zipper for closure.
Felt Wall Art: Cut felt into various shapes and sizes, and then glue or sew them onto a canvas or felt background to create a unique piece of wall art.
