Description: The painting shows two characters in black background. One character is rose flower which is drawn at right side and other character is a Nepali girl made at right side of the canvas. The Nepali girl is in the makeup of kumari. Kumari is a living goddess worshiped by Hindu and Buddhist. Worshipping a girl in the name of Kumari is done in Nepal only. Kumari is made public in few occasions in a year in the month of September only during the longest festival of Hindu called Dashain. The education and other remuneration of Kumari girl and all other responsibilities are taken by Nepal Government. She is placed in Kumari Ghar (Home) and she will be replaced by other Kumari girl of Shakya clan after her menstruation. The kumari tradition is about two century long. Kumari tradition is believed to be started from King Pratap Malla, the last king of Malla Regime of Nepal.

The kumari girl is bestowed with third eye in her forehead. Third eye in the forehead is sketched in the god and goddess of Nepal. This eye is believed to see the three dimensional view. Since Kumari is also worshiped as a goddess, the living goddess, third eye is made in her forehead. Her forehead is painted red with yellow border. The Kumari girl’s eyes are decorated with eye liner. Eventhough she is provided all the luxury, she is not free as other girl child of her age. The pink rose represents her willingness of freedom. The painting is a beautiful piece of art. This painting is suitable to be decorated in the walls of Home, Offices, Hotel, Restaurants, Resorts and Airlines.
